11 street artists create a giant fresco in Lyon

As part of Retrouvailles My Presqu’île and the urban redevelopment project, a gigantic fresco will be produced on the Lyon peninsula on October 13 and 14 in 2018. It will meander through the entire rue Victor Hugo, from the place Carnot to the rue Saint Hélène. This unprecedented collaboration between eleven Lyon artists Superposition and Taverne Gutenberg promises to shake you up!

The [Re]trouvailles My Presqu’île

“From Friday 12 to Sunday 14 October 2018, My Presqu’île is organizing the 3rd edition of [Re] Trouvailles My Presqu’ile: 3 days of festivities, meetings, finds and conviviality to discover or [re] discover the Presqu Ile de Lyon differently. The entire city center of Lyon comes alive to the rhythm of free activities open to all, to give you a unique experience! “A giant snake is taking over the street!

Superposition contributes to the [Re] finds by creating with Taverne Gutenberg and Maison G a fresco climbing the floor along the entire length of rue Victor Hugo. The overall visual will represent a gigantic, vegetated snake, punctuated by characters and animals.

The fresco is also a participatory work and the animal will need your intervention to appear in the heart of the city. Various activities will take place during the weekend.
